1. Can I use SCout for unlocking?
SCout is a flasher. It supports flashing options only. No unlocking is possible with this product.

2. I received my SCout dongle but the cables are not in the set. Where shall I get the cables and drivers?
Cables are optional and sold separately. Please check the Accessories tab. Drivers can be downloaded for free from Ammunition > Soft & Drivers section.

3. What platforms are supported by SCout?
SCout supports flashing of P2K, I-mode, Compal Locosto, Compal Calypso, Compal CDMA, Chi Mei and MotoMAGX. Other platforms are currently under development.

4. Does SCout require to be registered or activated?
SCout activation is performed automatically with the first dongle update. No other registration is required.

5. Is it possible to flash few handsets simultaneously?
SCout functionality allows flashing of up to 16 P2K/Compal based handsets simultaneously.

6. Does SCout support multi flashing of other platforms?
Multi flashing of Compal and P2K based handsets is already supported. Multi flash option of I-mode models is currently under development.

7. What update procedure do I have to perform if I am using SCout flasher with S-Card dongle of Smart-Clip?
In case of using SCout flasher with S-Card dongle, please perform update procedure of your dongle as it described in S-Card Update manual, using ActiveX client of Update zone at www.smart-clip.com.

8. Is S-Card compatible with SCout flasher? Can I use it without Smart-Clip?
S-Card is fully compatible with SCout flasher and can be used instead of SCout dongle. Also, it can be used for certain SmartMoto functions without use of Smart-Clip. The only issue that should be mentioned is that S-Card can not be updated to the latest version without Smart-Clip being connected to PC. Besides, in order to complete the update, the S-Card has to be registered to that Smart-Clip.
